M.A. Aitkhozhin and Kazakh national medicine university named after. S. Asfendiyarov , the Institute was visited by professor, director of the academic laboratory of Canterbury Christ Church University, School of Human and Life Sciences (UK) – Dr. Cornelia Meir Wilson.
Dr. Cornelia Meir Wilson is a recognized expert in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology. Her main areas of research are translational medicine, carcinogenesis, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Professor Wilson gave lectures on:
1) “Exosomes: biosynthesis and physiological role”;
2) “Balancing sortilin function: its role in human disease”;
3) “Neurogenerative diseases”
