On June 1, 2023, the Republican round table “Prospects for cooperation between higher educational institutions and research institutes” was held on the basis of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International kazakh-turkish university. The main goal of the round table is to establish a dialogue between higher educational institutions and research institutes to discuss the possibilities of joint implementation of scientific projects and improve the quality of training.
This event was held in accordance with the tasks set by the President of Republic of Kazakhstan K.K.Tokayev, aimed at the development of education and science. The event was opened and welcomed by the Chairman of the science committee of the Ministry of science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki, and the President of the mathematical society of the Turkic World – Bakytzhan Zhumagulov.
Rectors of universities and general directors of scientific institutes took part in the work of the round table and made presentations. The reports and discussions touched upon such topical issues as: prospects for cooperation between higher educational institutions and research institutes, personnel training, scientific research, etc.
Within the framework of the round table, the General director of M.A. Aitkhozhin Institute of molecular biology and biochemistry, professor K.Sharipov, signed memorandums of cooperation in the field of education and scientific research, with the aim of training highly qualified scientific personnel and specialists in the field of biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, ecology, and biomedicine with Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International kazakh-turkish university, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda university, South Kazakhstan pedagogical university, and South Kazakhstan medical academy.
