Gulnara Ismagulova graduated from the biology faculty of C.M. Kirov Kazakh State University in 1984. She received her Ph.D. degree in 1994 with specialization in biochemistry. Since 2006 she is a Head of the Genome laboratory. She has 43 years of work experience in science.

Skiba Yuri Alexandrovich

Yuri Skiba graduated from al-Farabi Kazakh National University with specialization in biotechnology in 2007. He received his Ph.D. degree with specialization in molecular biology (2009).

 Between 2003 and 2020 he was working as a – laboratory assistant – junior researcher – researcher – senior researcher at the genome laboratory of M. Aitkhozhin Institute of molecular biology and biochemistry. Since 2020 he is a leading researcher at the genome laboratory of IMBB.

Iskakova Gulnur Ayupovna

Gulnur Iskakova graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with specialization in biotechnology, genetics and molecular biology (2007). She received her Master’s degree in biotechnology at the Kazakh National Agrarian University in 2017. Since 2018 she is a Ph.D. candidate in agrobiology at Kazakh National Agrarian University.

She started to work in 2001 as a technician at the Institute of plant physiology, genetics and bioengineering. From 2005 to 2010 she was working as a technician, then as a junior researcher at the Genome laboratory of M. Aitkhozhin Institute of molecular biology and biochemistry. Between 2010 and 2015 she was working as a senior researcher at the Australian center for plant functional genomics in Adelaide. At present time, she is a researcher at the genome laboratory of M. Aitkhozhin Institute of molecular biology and biochemistry.

Maltseva Elina Romanovna

Elina Maltseva graduated from al-Farabi Kazakh National University with specialization in biotechnology (2004). In 2006, she received her Master’s degree in biotechnology. Between 2011 and 2014 she was studying for Ph.D. at al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Since 2002, she has been working as a technician – junior researcher – researcher at the genome laboratory of M. Aitkhozhin Institute of molecular biology and biochemistry.

Mendesh Assel Muratkyzy

Assel Mendesh graduated from al-Farabi Kazakh National University with specialization in biotechnology (2007). In 2015, she received her Master’s degree in biology at al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Since 2006 she has been working at the Genome laboratory of M. Aitkhozhin Institute of molecular biology and biochemistry.

Bisenbay Akerke Ongarbaykyzy

Akerke Bisenbay graduated from al-Farabi Kazakh National University with specialization in biotechnology (2014). In 2015 she was studying at the International Language Academy, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. In 2016 she received her Master’s degree in biomedical and molecular sciences from Kings College, London, UK. She is a Ph.D. candidate at al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

She has been working at the Genome laboratory of IMBB since 2000. She has 22 years of work experience at science.

Naizabayeva Dinara Adamzhankyzy

Dinara Naizabayeva graduated from al-Farabi Kazakh National University with specialization in biotechnology (2016). In 2018 she received her Master’s degree in biotechnology. She is a Ph.D. candidate at al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

She has been working at Genome laboratory of IMBB since 2015.

Dina Baisaparova graduated from the biology faculty of al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 1998. She received her Master’s degree in biology at al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2020.
