Information about the appointment of an Ethics Commissioner at the Aitkhozhin Institute of molecular biology and biochemistry

By order of the General Director for K.O. Sharipov, an Ethics

Commissioner was appointed to the  IMBB in accordance with the order of the Committee of science of the MES of Kazakhstan No. 2-01-1/1418-И dated April 10, 2020 – Deputy Director Ismagulova G.A. The draft rules of ethics of the Institute were developed in accordance with the provisions of The Institute’s Charter, the Collective agreement and the “Recommendations on the status of scientific workers” of UNESCO. The purpose of the Rules is to develop the corporate culture at the Institute and build effective interaction with stakeholders by applying best practices of behavior, promoting attentive and responsible attitude to daily situations and problems. According to the Rules, the necessary conditions for the constructive work of the Institute are compliance with the requirements of ethics and rules of conduct, as well as compliance with the mutual obligations of employees and all interested parties.

The Rules set out the duties of officials and employees of the Institute and

their rules of conduct, as well as the rights and duties of the Ethics Commissioner, appointed once a year by order of the General Director.

The draft Rules on ethics submitted for review to the Commissioner on

the ethics and anti-corruption Committee of Science of the MES of the RK and will be approved by the CS of the MES of the RK.
