The first meeting of the IMBB Academic Council in 2022

The first meeting of the IMBB Academic Council in 2022 was held on January 27.

IMBB Director General K.O. Sharipov informed about the expanded meeting of the board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov, which took place a few hours earlier. In particular, on issues related to the science development – on the adoption of the Concept for the Development of Science for 2022-2026, stable financing of science, announcement of competitions for program-targeted (2022-2023) and grant financing (2022-2024), improvement of institutions’ material and technical equipping.

There was an appointment of the Academic Council’s members at the meeting, the work plans of the Academic Council and the laboratories for 2022 were approved.
