Happy Republic day!

Dear citizens of Kazakhstan, friends!

 

On September 29, 2022, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the law “On Amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Cinematography, Culture and Holidays”, according to which the Republic Day was returned the status of a national holiday. And this year, we again celebrate one of the main holidays of the country – Republic Day.

The Declaration on the State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan was adopted on 25^th October 1990. A year later, on December 16, 1991, after N. Nazarbayev signed the Constitutional Law “On State Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, our country became an independent.

The events that took place in those days played a decisive role in the formation of Kazakhstan as an independent state and are of particular historical significance. Today we can say with confidence that Republic Day is one of the most significant holidays in our country.
