Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU)

Master’s students majoring in biomedicine underwent introductory practice in the laboratory of structural and functional genomics of IMBB as part of the Agreement between M.A. Aitkhozhin Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry (IMBB) and S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU). This form of practice contributes to the professional orientation of future young specialists in biomedicine.

Master’s students got acquainted with the scientific areas of the laboratory’s work, the projects that scientists are working on, the equipment used, methods of data collection, processing of results and analysis of information. In addition, students had the opportunity to ask questions on topics that interested them.

The collaboration of KazNMU and IMBB provides mutually beneficial cooperation, promoting the search and creation of innovative solutions and advanced treatment methods. This experience strengthens the connection between education and science, providing prospects for future joint research and the implementation of their results in medical practice.
