SCIENCE WORKERS DAY. 125-TH ANNIVERSARY OF K.I. SATPAEV

As part of the celebration of Science Workers’ Day and the 125-th anniversary of K.I. Satpayev on April 12, 2024 at M.A. Aitkhozhin Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry Veterans of science were honored.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise S.B. Azambaev came to congratulate the veterans of science, and conveyed congratulations from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek.

The congratulations noted that today Kazakh science is demonstrating positive growth. The government of Kazakhstan is creating favorable conditions for its further development, in particular, the volume of funding for science is growing, the scientific infrastructure is being modernized, the material and technical base is improving, and much attention is being paid to the commercialization and implementation of the results of scientific and technical activities in the country’s economy. Special support is provided to young scientists, funds are allocated for training and retraining of personnel, and improving their qualifications.

Honoring the veterans continued with congratulations from the staff of M.A. Aitkhozhin Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Deputy Director G.A. Ismagulova thanked the veterans for their enormous work and their contribution to the development of biological science in Kazakhstan, the formation of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, as well as for the transfer of experience and knowledge to the younger generation of scientists.

The veterans were presented with flowers and gifts, and wishes for health, prosperity, and long life were expressed!
