JUNIOR RESEARCHER AT THE M.A. AITKHOZHIN INSTITUTE OF MOLECULAR BIOLOGY AND BIOCHEMISTRY HAS RECEIVED AN APARTMENT UNDER THE “ZHAS GALYM” HOUSING PROGRAM

At the end of 2023, on the initiative of the Head of State, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with Otbasy Bank JSC, launched a program to provide mortgage loans to young scientists involved in science.

Akbota Rakhatkyzy, junior researcher at the Laboratory of Biotechnology and Molecular Genetics, M.A. Aitkhozhin Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, has become the owner of a new apartment and will soon celebrate her housewarming.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which provides the opportunity to buy an apartment with a down payment of 10% and an annual rate of 5%. This is a huge help and motivation for me! I have received the keys to a two-room apartment in a new house and now I am doing it makeovers. Now I have my own apartment!” said Akbota Rakhatkyzy.

Akbota Rakhatkyzy and her coworkers from Aitkhozhin Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry are conducting research on a scientific project “Development of biotechnological methods for combating phytopathogens in order to increase the productivity of agricultural crops.”

Let us remind that young scientists who carry out scientific research/scientific and technical activities, have at least a master’s degree and have at least 3 years of scientific experience can participate in the “Zhas Galym” housing program.
